BEFORE YOU BOOK

Please take a moment to read this important information before submitting a booking request.

It may answer some of your questions beforehand and also contains vital information regarding the booking process, day of your tattoo and other tattoo-related queries.

  • GENERAL INFO

I'm a London-based artist creating freehand custom designs for each client, based on your vision, anatomy, and a collaborative process.

As you have likely seen from my portfolio, I have a passion for botanicals and floral concepts.

The smallest size designs I create start at 10cm and my focus is on black and grey tattoos, which I believe have the most longevity and stand the test of time.

I don't tend to tattoo other subjects, including:

micro tattoos, portraits, ornamentals, lettering, small symbols, colours or animals.

The only other subjects I do tattoo are:

    dragons, snakes, birds and insects.

  • HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOO TAKE?

The length of time and number of sessions we will require to complete your tattoo depends on a few important factors:

size, subject, positioning, and intricacy of the design.

Most of my projects are completed in one or two sessions. The only tattoos requiring a high number of sessions are very large concepts and detailed designs, such as backpieces.

Usually, all sessions start at 11am.

Simpler /smaller designs can be completed by around 3 - 4pm.

Larger or more detailed projects can end anywhere between 6 - 8pm.

    Here are some examples

There will be full flexibility to take short breaks for lunch or any other breaks you may require during the process!

  • WHAT IS YOUR RATE AND DEPOSIT POLICY?

My pricing is based on the project, not charged by the hour.

Placement and detail are important, not just the size of the concept.

For example, a smaller tattoo with a lot of elaborate detailing in a delicate placement could cost similar to a slightly larger but simpler piece on a part of the body that is easier to tattoo.

In order to guarantee a booking, a deposit is required.

I have limited availability, so please note that deposits are non-refundable.

    • I primarily work from Monday - Friday and usually take weekends off. However, if you wish to book a weekend appointment, this can be arranged for a small additional fee if it is confirmed in advance.

    • If you decide to cancel your appointment entirely, your deposit will be forfeited.

    • If something urgent comes up and you need to reschedule your date, your deposit can be moved over to a new date, as long as we are informed 24 hours or more before your appointment.

    • If you reschedule a second time, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to start the booking process again with a new deposit.
  • DO YOU OFFER CONSULTATIONS?

I don't offer video or phone calls, only in-person consultations.

These generally take about one hour and I may draw some freehand in skin-safe marker on the day.

During this complimentary consultation, we can discuss all the details of your desired concept and I will recommend the best position to follow your anatomy and the dynamics of your muscles and bone structure to ensure your tattoo completely fits your body.

If you are ready to book at the end of the consultation, we will confirm a date and arrange your deposit payment.

I only offer consultations for complex concepts or large and difficult placements. For example, a back piece or a design featuring numerous elements/subjects.

  • DO YOU USE STENCILS OR FREEHAND?
Almost all of my tattoos are created completely freehand. I only occasionally use stencils for specific elements that may require a more precise placement or detail.

I work with freehand because this allows me to create a piece that is truly bespoke for your body, following the contours of your muscles and specific shape.

Due to this, I am not able to show designs in advance. Rest assured, you will see a sample concept that we will follow on the day of your tattoo before your session begins.
We will discuss all important details, such as lightness and contrast, shading, etc. before we start and you will see your concept come to life through various stages of freehand drawing before we even begin tattooing.

To ensure the process is as comfortable as possible for you, I will also show a few examples of my finished work that relate to your project so it will be easier for you to visualise the final result.

Only once you are completely happy with the positioning and dynamics of the drawing on your body will we begin your tattoo!
  • DO YOU DO COVER UPS OR TATTOO OVER SCARS?

This depends on your original tattoo.

I can do cover-ups, but this is influenced by the following factors:

size, how dark your original tattoo is, the thickness and contrast of lines, how much colour it contains.

If it is very dark with thick lines, then my style of artwork is unlikely to completely cover your design so that it is no longer visible.

If it is more fine-line, faded, or you've had a few laser removal sessions already, then there will be a higher chance of completely covering your existing tattoo.

Tattooing over scarring is possible only if:

    • your scar is at least one to one and a half years healed
    • it is fairly flat and hasn't caused any indentation of the skin
  • PRE-APPOINTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS!
I always recommend taking the following steps before coming in for your appointment:

    • Get a good night's rest beforehand and make sure you have a big breakfast on the morning of our session!

    • Use coconut oil or any other cream that will keep your skin soft and moisturised in the days leading up to our session. This will help make the tattooing process more comfortable for your skin.

    • Please ensure you are feeling fit and healthy on the day of your tattoo. If you are feeling unwell, have a cough or temperature, or are taking antibiotics, please let us know ASAP so we can reschedule, as we may have to cancel if you arrive at the studio unwell.

Please only send your request via our booking form.
